Mazie's Mission is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to creating an
environment where any animal can have a loving home. The Mission's goal
is to end needless euthanasia and provide shelter and veterinary care to any
homeless animal.

There are also two programs currently proposed through Mazie's Mission:
provide veterinary care for pets of homeless people and the elderly, and
create a sanctuary where animals can live out their lives if their owners
become unable to care for them.

Mazie's Mission was created by Dr. Erin Shults in the fall of 2009. She
graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 1998 and wants to devote
all of her time to Mazie's Mission. She is passionate about animal welfare
and believes every pet deserves respect and to live without pain or fear.
