The Web Pet Doctor was founded in March
2009 by Dr. Erin Shults. She is a 1998
graduate of Texas A&M University College of
Veterinary Medicine. For the past 11 years,
she has practiced medicine in lucrative
private practice. She realized her heart was
in shelter medicine and The Web Pet Doctor
was born. Her dream was to create a website
where the most up to date and accurate
information could be found. In creating this
website, she hopes to fund Mazie's Misson, a
non-profit organization in Dallas, Texas. Dr.
Shults' dream is to build the largest no-kill
shelter in Texas while providing the best
online pet information available.
Dr. Shults lives in North Texas with her 3 two-legged children and 4 four-legged
children (2 dogs and 2 cats). She plans to devote all of her time and expertise to
Mazie's Mission and create an environment where any animal will always have a
home. All proceeds from advertising on The Web Pet Doctor will directly benefit
Mazie's Mission.
